Camp Moledet. 1950.

Camp Moledet. 1950.
Description:
Camp Moledet. 1950. The largest collection of pictures shows scenes of Camp Moledet, a short-lived institution operated by a Zionist organization (it may have been the Zionist Youth Foundation) from 1949-1951. The Executive Director who hired me as a junior counselor in 1950 was Phillip Redelheim who recently retired as Executive Director of Congregation Beth El in Cherry Hill, NJ. The director of the camp was Herman Balin. The camp had a lease arrangement with a privately owned camp called Rock Hill, which, I believe, eventually resumed operation under its original name. The mailing address was Green Lane in northern Montgomery County. All photos were taken in the summer of 1950.
